Technology Time Sharing; The Politics Of Allocating Resources

Today we have super computers that are really incredible, and in fact we can use the supercomputer to do all sorts of things. Currently, we have computers that make tens of trillions of calculations per second and are ideal for taking on things like weather, with huge quantities of records from various sources.

These computers can also be used to track criminals by scanning the Internet or databases. These computers can be used to seek to prevent the manipulation of genetic diseases and problems in the human body. Unfortunately, we do not share enough of these super-computer and yet so different groups have the technology.

One problem we have is with time-sharing technology for supercomputers that it involved politics in the allocation of resources. A cure for cancer is indeed a very large endowment of resources, but also a hurricane approaches the same time or maybe we try to follow or malicious insidious international terrorism.

You can see, how can the political allocation of supercomputer resources to be very important and you may also see the associated problems. In fact, there are so many uses for number processing as a NASA program or included on a difficult mathematical problem, there are a lot of support.

It is important to prioritize what most compelling need for the technology and of course the computer should be used for this first. If our nation is at war, supercomputers can come in handy for many things in fact.

However, we must not forget that the progress of humanity and science is important but perhaps not as pressing at the moment when the army computer needs. Maybe you can get all this in 2006 to look at and with me in promoting the purchase of more than supercomputers.
